This prog rock band led by guitarist Andy Glass became big during the 80s and 90s. Solstice mixes melodic prog with overtones from jazz, folk, pop and world music.
The band impressively mixes progressive rock with pop, folk and neo-prog influences. The new album Light Up builds on its subdued predecessor, but has a more cheerful and positive sound. Not least because of the voice of singer Jess Holland.
