Mostly Autumn

A band that can be deemed an integral part of the British progressive rock landscape. Bryan Josh's pure emotional guitar work is very reminiscent of guitar heroes like David Gilmour and Steve Hackett.

Mostly Autumn hails from York, England and was founded in 1996 by Bryan Josh. Inspired by groups such as Genesis and Pink Floyd, the band has managed to develop its own sound over the years. Characteristic of Mostly Autumn is its prog folk sound. Celtic influences are combined with symphonic, melodic passages and heavy elements. Besides Bryan Josh, the band consists of singer Olivia Sparnenn, keyboardist Iain Jennings, guitarist Chris Johnson, Angela Gordon (flute, vocals and keyboards), bassist Andy Smith and drummer Alex Cromarty.
