The Musical Box



De internationaal gerenommeerde en veelgeprezen The Musical Box, de enige Genesis tributeband met de zegen van Genesis en Peter Gabriel, komt met hun A Genesis Extravaganza - An Unprecedented Musical Feast of 1970-1977 Favorites & Rarities naar het Stadstheater. Onder de naam BIS (Boerderij in Stadstheater) presenteert Cultuurpodium Boerderij zo nu en dan bijzondere concerten in een seated-setting.
The Musical Box heeft al voor meer dan een miljoen toeschouwers wereldwijd opgetreden, in een aantal van de meest prestigieuze locaties, zoals The Royal Albert Hall in Londen. De band had het voorrecht om Phil Collins en Steve Hackett van Genesis te ontvangen voor gastoptredens en wordt in hun zoektocht naar authenticiteit vaak genoemd als de beste Genesis tributeband ter wereld! Verwacht nummers uit de beginjaren van Genesis, denk daarbij aan albums als '"Trespass", "Nursery Crime", "Foxtrot", "Selling England by the Pound, "The Lamb lies down on Broadway", "A Trick of The Trail" en "Wind &amp; Wuthering". <em>"The Musical Box recreated, very accurately I must say, what Genesis was doing.
