UFO

UPDATE: Following the sad news of Paul Raymond's death on April 13, the band has officially announced they are continuing their Last Orders Tour. Neil Carter, who was part of UFO for some time in the early 1980s and played on various albums, will take Paul's place. UFO is one of the standard-bearers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. The name of the band is derived from the London UFO club, where you could often find the members of Pink Floyd among many others. Numerous metal musicians from the '80s and '90s have named UFO as one of their main sources of inspiration.
The British rock band UFO exists for half a century and has seen many members come and go, including legendary guitarist Michael Schenker. Front man Phil Mogg is the driving force behind the band and his voice is still recognizable and crisp after all these years. With their latest album A Conspiracy of Stars (2015) UFO proves that the band has been able to retain its familiar sound.
