The new band of Belgian rock icon Arno Hintjens is a combination of his earlier bands Tjens Couter and T.C. Matic. Tjens Couter was founded in 1972, the group changed its name to T.C. Matic in 1980. This band had a hit in 1981 with the song Oh La La La! This song could still be heard in discotheques for many years.
The now 68-year-old singer Arno Hintjens has no intentions of quitting at all. His new band, Tjens Matic, is a combination of the earlier bands with which he achieved great success so many years ago. Expect powerful material from the aforementioned bands with nostalgia for rock and roll from the 60s and 70s. In Belgium the concerts were a great success and their show at the Ancienne Belgique was sold out within three minutes. But now it's our turn in the Netherlands!
