Time Bandits are known for their authentic 80's disco sound and the exceptionally high-pitched voice of lead singer Alides Hidding. The electro-disco-funk band from the Netherlands scored hit after hit in the 1980s. In 1982 their mega hit 'I'm Specialized In You' reached world fame. The rest is history.
In 1980 Alides Hidding scored a solo hit with 'Hollywood Seven'. Hereafter, Hidding continued with the band Time Bandits. Characteristic of the Time Bandits is the professional sound of funk, disco, soul and rock and the unmistakable voice and guitar sound of Alides Hidding. Hits like 'I'm Specialized In You', 'Listen To The Man With The Golden Voice', 'I'm Only Shooting Love', 'Dancing On A String' and 'I Won't Steal Away' can still be heard on the radio on a daily basis. Alides Hidding is currently working as a songwriter for Dutch and Belgian artists, including Romeo, Ruth Jacott, Dana Winner, Helmut Lotti, Barbara Dex and many others.
