The Osmonds

The Osmonds scored big hits in the seventies with songs like 'Crazy Horses', 'Puppy Love' and 'One Bad Apple'. After that there were numerous hits like 'Goin'Home', 'One way ticket to Anywhere', 'Hold her Tight', 'Love me for a Reason' and 'Having a Party'.
The career of The Osmonds started in the early 60s when they regularly performed on the Andy Williams Show. After seven seasons, the brothers started to write and compose themselves, which resulted in a contract with MGM records. In the Netherlands the great success came in 1972 after The Osmonds had performed in "One out of Eight", a famous quiz hosted by the recently deceased Mies Bouwman (Dutch female TV presenter). They were instant teen idols and swiftly started touring around the world. Mrs. Bouwman stated 41 years later in an interview for a Dutch magazine: "I will never forget the moment the Osmonds performed live on stage. The audience was dead quiet and looked in total astonishment at noisy Donny Osmond and his musical brothers".
