Information

There isn't a soul alive unfamiliar with 'Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime'. The Korgis is the band responsible for this 1980 megahit that achieved 3rd place in the leading Dutch pop charts, the Top 40. On Saturday 23 May 2020 they will perform live at Cultuurpodium Boerderij.

This British pop band has had more hit singles, including ‘If I Had You’, ‘Dumb Waiters’ and ‘If It’s Alright With You Baby’. The band is led by the original singer/bass player James Warren (also a former member of the cult prog-rock band Stackridge from the 70’s) and furthermore consists of singer John Baker and guitarist Al Steele from the touring band from the 1990s. Keyboard player Glenn Tommey and powerhouse drummer Paul Smith together form the rhythm section and backing vocalists ‘Born To Win’ provide brilliant background vocals and bring a lively energy to each and every performance. James and the band have worked hard to create a show that is both musically and visually exciting. From the very first Stackridge song ever released, through all Korgis’ hits and favourites to excellent new material. The shows they performed in 2019 received responses such as “flawless musical craftsmanship” and “breathtaking musicality.”
