Due to health issues of Ton Scherpenzeel, the planned Kayak show on Saturday December 7 is cancelled, unfortunately. Two replacement acts have been added to the The Flower Kings show, namely iamthemorning and Rikard Sjöblom (Big Big Train, Beardfish).

    The Flower Kings

    The Swedish band The Flower Kings, founded by guitarist Roine Stolt, turned the symphonic rock world upside down in the 1990s. The band plays pure prog rock that harks back to the 1970s. The Flower Kings have had different line-ups over the years. The characteristic flowing guitar play of Roine Stolt, the pronounced bass runs of Jonas Reingold (Steve Hackett) and the soulful voice of Hasse Fröberg characterize the music of The Flower Kings. Together with Zach Kamins (keys) and Mirko DeMaio (drums) these guys put on an impressive show.
