This evening we will stream the concert registration of Alquin on June 13, 2003 in the Boerderij. This performance was released on DVD entitled "One More Night".

The live shows of Delft based Alquin in the 1970s were a fantastic experience due to the infectious mix of prog, jazz, blues and psychedelics. Style-wise, Alquin was a bit of a cross between Caravan and Steely Dan. Unfortunately, an international breakthrough for Alquin failed to materialize, which led to the band breaking up in 1977. In 2003 the band decided to perform live one more time, but that was such a success that they added just a few gigs. "One More Night" is unpretentious and honest. Not only does it sound great, it is also a joy to watch these musicians enjoy each other's performances. There is a lot of chemistry and the sheer joy of playing clearly radiates!
