In short, a co-headline show of two impressive bands from the prestigious InsideOut label that you simply cannot afford to miss!
The American band Spock's Beard was founded in 1992 by brothers Neal and Alan Morse. In 2002, Neal Morse left the band to fully focus on his solo career. The band experiences several changes in the line-up over the years. In the present day Spock's Beard consists of Alan Morse, Dave Meros, Ryo Okumoto and Ted Leonard. The band now has thirteen albums to its name. Their latest album "Noise Floor" saw the light of day this spring. Spock's Beard has retained its distinctive sound over the past two decades. The Swedish band The Flower Kings, founded by guitarist Roine Stolt, turned the symphonic rock world upside down in the 90s. The band plays pure progrock that harks back to the 70s. This band has also seen some different line-ups. The characteristic flowing guitar play of Roine Stolt, the distinctive bass lines of Jonas Reingold and the soulful voice of Hasse Fröberg characterize the music of The Flower Kings.
