Sometimes it's simple: rock 'n' roll is all about having fun, letting your hair down and enjoy guitar riffs and drum rolls/fills, until you get goose bumps. In this spirit, a few veterans from the trade put their heads together. Drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk, (Golden Earring) and colleague Mario Goossens (drummer Triggerfinger, half-Belgian, half-Dutch) recruited guitarist and golden voice Pete Shoulder (Brit, ex-Winterville, The Union, most recently Silverthorne) and guitarist Fabio Canini, from Belgian Limburg, to create some magic together.

The foursome went on to work with a few well-chosen covers and soon developed a solid classic rock sound, which, thanks to the unique sound of dual drums and Shoulder’s voice, was head and shoulders (..) above the rest. Classic stuff! 2020 will most likely be the year of this extraordinary quartet; under the name SLOPER (wrecking crew/scrapper/demolition man) they really go for it, within a genre that holds nothing new. The music stands for solid riffs, cool drums and, yes: decibels!!
Demolition (demolished): demolishing, wrecking, scrapping, destroying, decimating, cracking, liquidating, trashing, ruining, breaking down, wiping out, renovating, crushing, eradicating, exterminating, annihilating, eliminating.
Sloper: someone who demolishes
By all means, pun intended.
