A special co-headline show of Roachford & Sniff ‘N’ The Tears!

In 1988 the band Roachford had its biggest hit in the Netherlands: “Cuddly Toy”. Singer Andrew Roachford received multiple platinum and gold albums, both solo and with band. From 2010 he is a singer with Mike & the Mechanics. Andrew Roachford is known not only as a fantastic vocalist but also as a brilliant songwriter. Like no other he manages to translate feelings into words. It is not without reason that he wrote on specific request for Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan and Joss Stone. On September 11, 2020, his eleventh studio album “Twice in a Lifetime” will be released, produced by Jimmy Hogarth. Hogarth previously worked with Paolo Nutini, Duffy and Amy Winehouse and provides recognizable positive mid-tempo soul/pop. On the album you will hear various musicians from Amy Winehouse’s band and a duet with Beverly Knight.

Sniff ’n’ the Tears

Pronounce the name Sniff ‘n’ the Tears and you will immediately get a response: Driver’s Seat! Singer Paul Roberts and Les Davidson formed the band in 1978 and had a worldwide hit with this song after the release of their first album “Fickle Heart”. The last European tour of Sniff ‘n’ the Tears was back in 1992, a year after the band scored a No. 1 hit in the Netherlands with the same song, thanks to a car commercial, reaching a whole new generation. The band made several more albums, but only performed live again in 2018, in an intimate setting. And now they are back with the album “Jump”: acoustic versions of Sniff ‘n’ the Tears songs and previously unreleased material. Tonight they’ll make their long-awaited return to the stage!
