    Huis

The Canadian band Huis was founded in 2009 by Pascal Lapierre and Michel Joncas. In 2014, the acclaimed debut album "Despite Guardian Angels" was released. Guitarist Michel St-Père, a regular guest at De Boerderij with his band Mystery, has also become a permanent member of Huis. Keyboardist Pascal Lapierre had to leave the band for family reasons in 2014 and was replaced by Johnny Maz. The music of Huis is characterized by the presence of many keyboards. This is continued on their second album "Neither In Heaven". Overall the material has become slightly heavier with the arrival of Michel St-Père. The music of Huis can be categorized as Neo Prog, just like bands as IQ and Pendragon.

  • Barock Project

Barock Project was founded by keyboardist and composer Luca Zabbini. He is strongly influenced by Keith Emerson (ELP). Together with singer Luca Pancaldi, Barock Project has kept Zabbini busy for more than ten years. The goal is to combine seventies prog with elements such as classic rock, jazz, pop, metal, and as the band name implies, Baroque. In 2014 drummer Eric Ombelli and guitarist Marco Mazzuoccolo join the band. This appears to be a good move, because a year later, the album "Skyline" is released. Recently the live double album "Vivo" was released. This already acclaimed album is an absolute must.

  • Karnataka

Karnataka consists of an international selection of top musicians. The beautiful voice of Hayley Griffiths (Riverdance, Lord of Dance), the virtuoso guitar work of the Italian guitarist Enrico Pinna, the melodically-driven bass of Ian Jones, innovative and symphonic keyboards of Turkish pianist Cagri Tozluoglu and all this accompanied by the powerful dynamic drums of the French drummer Jimmy Pallagrosi. Since the release of their album "Delicate Flame of Desire" (2003) Karnataka has moved to the top of the symphonic progressive rock scene. The sequel "The Gathering Light"(2010) won an award for best international album at the World Prog Awards. Their latest album "Secrets of Angels" (2015) has a dynamic and symphonic touch and takes the band to new heights. The album was recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios and Quadra Studios in London.
