Procol Harum are an English rock band formed in 1967. They contributed to the development of progressive rock, and by extension, symphonic rock. Their best-known recording is their 1967 hit single "A Whiter Shade of Pale", which is considered a classic of popular music and is one of the few singles to have sold over 10 million copies. 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of this classic pop song, celebrated by the band with a series of special concerts. After their sold-out show in 2016, these living legends return to De Boerderij in 2017!

Singer/pianist/composer Gary Brooker is most famous as the founding member of Procol Harum, yet music fans have also appreciated his excellent work with such artists as George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Bill Wyman, Kate Bush, Wings, Mickey Jupp and even Lonnie Donegan. The current line-up is Gary Brooker, non-performing artist Keith Reid, Geoff Whitehorn, Matt Pegg, Josh Phillips and Geoff Dunn.

Support acts

A collaboration between two former bandmates. A duo which decided to go solo. After their band Alquin stopped performing, Michel van Dijk and Ferdinand Bakker decided to make their own album. They embarked on a quest of musical experimentation, a search for the stories and references that inspired them both. It was at these crossroads of mutual inspiration that their journey became most interesting, resulting in their new upcoming second album “View from the bridge”.
