Lifesigns & Dilemma

It's been five years since the eponymous debut album from Lifesigns was released. Meanwhile, the project of keyboard player John Young has grown into a full-fledged band and the new album "Cardington" (2017) has been realized. In 2018 Lifesigns consists of keyboardist John Young (Uli Jon Roth, John Wetton), drummer Martin 'Frosty' Beedle, bassist Jon Poole (former Cardiacs) and Dave Bainbridge (Iona, Celestial Fire).
John Young started writing songs for Lifesigns in 2008. His goal: a pure prog rock album. In Steve Rispin he finds the ultimate producer and sound engineer. The result is an innovative sound characterized by multi layered keyboards and the Chapman stick. On the debut album, legendary guest musicians are featured, including Steve Hacket (Genesis), Thijs van Leer (Focus), Jakko Jakszyk (King Crimson) and Robin Boult (Fish). The album received rave reviews, this also applies to successor "Cardington". The role of versatile guitarist Dave Bainbridge, known from Iona, is huge. It is definitely not a repetition and the album will no doubt appeal to many prog enthusiasts. The radio silence surrounding the progressive rock band Dilemma is definitely over. The band released one album in 1996, and gradually disappeared from the scene. Until IO Pages magazine asked the band for a reunion concert in 2012. Meanwhile, the band has not been idle, behind the scenes they worked hard on their new album "Random Acts Of Liberaton", mixed by Rich Mouser (Spock's Beard, Transatlantic, Neal Morse). A must for fans of Spock's Beard, Steven Wilson, Haken and Frost!
