Lene Lovich Band (Cancelled)

American singer Lene Lovich is widely regarded as one of the punk and new wave icons of the late seventies and early eighties. Some of her big hits are: Lucky Number, Say when and Bird Song, and her debut album Stateless is a new wave classic. This record was followed by the albums Flex (1980), New toy (1981), No man's land (1982) and March (1990).
In 1979 Lene contributed to Herman Brood's film Cha Cha and in 1986 she and Nina Hagen released the protest song Don't Kill the Animals, directed against the use of laboratory animals. After a 15 year radio silence Lene Lovich released Shadows and Dust (2005), her first album since March. The eccentric singer, who has reached the tender age of 68 but won't think of retiring, is still touring the world with her band. Don't miss the opportunity to see this new wave pioneer perform live!
