Laurel Canyon

Four passionate and experienced musicians first gathered together, then joined forces and rehearsed in a studio in Wassenaar, to be able to carry out the immortal music of their musical heroes from the early years of pop music.
The largely American Westcoast repertoire contains songs by many famous and lesser known singer/songwriters and bands that have their 'roots' in the former hippie district Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles. Music from the legendary Byrds, Crosby, Stills, Nash, Eagles and Jackson Browne alternates with material from Carole King, Dave Mason and others. There are also trips to the unsurpassed British pop music from the sixties and seventies from, among others, Badfinger, Traffic and Jeff Lynn. Laurel Canyon is: Joop Lelieveld - bass guitar, vocals; Hans Dijksterhuis - drums, guitar, harmonica & vocals; Jan Loman - piano, organ, harmonica & vocals; Ferry Lever - guitars & vocals.
