Lonely Robot is the project of producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Mitchell. If there is one person in the prog genre who guarantees solid and high-quality music, it is John Mitchell. Mitchell is also known for the bands Arena, Frost*, John Wetton and It Bites. Since 2015, Mitchell has been releasing albums at a rapid pace under the name Lonely Robot. The most recent album A Model Life (2022) is further proof of his powerful and song-oriented prog.
In addition to John Mitchell on guitar and vocals, the band consists of Graig Blundell (known from Steven Wilson, among others) on drums, Graham Brown on keys, Steve Mills on bass and backing singer Sarah Bailey.
