John Illsley of Dire Straits



John Illsley is best known as the co-founder and bass player of world-famous British rock band Dire Straits. He has sold over 120 million albums with Dire Straits worldwide, with Brothers in Arms (1985) being their most successful album.
This album stayed in the Dutch Album Top 100 for no less than 269 weeks, which makes it the longest ranking album of all time! Tonight John Illsley and his band will play such Dire Straits classics as Sultans of Swing, Private Investigations, Brothers in Arms, and Money for Nothing, as well as material from his new studio album Testing The Water.
