Infloyd - Amused To Death

Dutch Pink Floyd tribute band Infloyd is the first band to recreate Roger Waters' album Amused to Death live on stage, in clubs, theatres and larger concert halls. The album, released in 1992, is considered by many to be a true masterpiece, not in the least by Roger Waters himself. In an interview with the BBC in 2013 Waters stated that he considers Amused to Death and Dark Side of the Moon to be his best work.
The musical performance and the production quality of the album have been praised by many. And the theme, the influence of mass media on society, is still very relevant today. The album can be construed as the musical rendition of a philosophical phrase. A profound outcry, drawing the listener into one scene after another, with various musical styles - classical music, pop and rock - coming together in one visual, cinematic whole. Amused to Death has never been played live before, not even by Roger Waters himself. Infloyd is the first tribute band to perform the whole album live. And that's not all: they will also play the other Waters masterpiece, Dark Side of the Moon, in its entirety.
