The Tightropes The Tightropes were founded in 2012 and have skyrocketed through the Dutch music scene ever since. After countless amazing shows, it is clear that The Tightropes can no longer be ignored. From jazz to hard blues rock and from classical to punk, these musicians master all genres. Deemed 'awesome funky blues/rock 'n roll' by the band itself. They have set a course in which they are hardly influenced by public opinion. 'With our own raw music we show people what we can do. That's what we want. Whether it is for ten people or for a thousand. We always give it all.' The Tightropes website The Tightropes facebook The Tightropes YouTube Tom Veltien 'Groundbreaking' is the stamp that can be firmly put on the spirited guitar talent Tom Veltien. Energetic, impulsive and dynamic are the phrases hat fully apply here. This young boisterous guitarist is in full control and has been influenced by Pink Floyd, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix and played with musicians from home and abroad. He was even allowed to make an appearance twice at the largest free European blues and roots festival Ribs & Blues. He produced his own theatre show entitled "The Edge of the Blues" and played at Dutch festivals such as IJsseljazz, GitGo Blues Festival and Texel Blues, where he won the Young TexelBlues Challenge Award. No sea too high for this 23-year-old grandmaster of the guitar. Blues Magazine about Tom Veltien: 'He presents himself as a fully-accomplished guitar virtuoso to an excited audience. He also sings well and his flashy guitar work provides many a goosebump moment. We definitely will not have seen the last from this guy!'. Tom Veltien facebook Tom Veltien YouTube
