Next to Mothers Finest and Living Colour, The Dan Reed Network can be seen as one of the founders of a genre characterized by hard rock, mixed with funk and soul. During the second half of the '80s, the band built a huge fan base in Europe. Alongside Bon Jovi, they were the highest scoring band at Polygram.
The band came back together in 2013 for a special New Year's show, after which they decided to continue as a band. After returning to their original manager, Derek Schulman, the group performed a select number of shows, including: Download Festival, UK, Sweden Rock Fest, Hard Rock Hell, UK, and club shows in the UK, Sweden and Germany. Almost all shows were sold out. The new album, 'Fight Another Day', was released on the Frontiers label.
