Casey McPherson (Flying Colors)

Casey McPherson is best known as the dynamic frontman of Flying Colors, a super group consisting of former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, Deep Purple guitarist Steve Morse, bassist Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs) and keyboard player Neal Morse (ex-Spock's Beard, Transatlantic). McPherson is also the founder of the alternative rock band Alpha Rev. With this band he scored two major radio hits and reached the Billboard charts several times.
Casey McPherson grew up in Texas. After the breakup of his band Endochine, he founded the successful band Alpha Rev. Their debut album "New Morning" (2010) reaches the top 5 of no less than two Billboard charts. The singles 'New Morning' and 'Sing Loud' are in the top 10 for weeks. McPherson is intrigued by 'haunted melodies'. Because of his unique voice and sympathetic personality, he quickly gained international fame. In 2011 Casey McPherson is asked to join Flying Colors. With this band he tours around the world and plays in many sold-out venues.
