Born in the Frisian town of Franeker in the North of Holland, but raised in South Africa, Boaz picks up the guitar at the tender age of 13 and starts singing spontaneously. Before long his raw, pure voice is discovered and soon his journey as a singer/songwriter begins.
After just one year, Boaz performs regularly, his voice only accompanied by guitar, but since 2018 he has been supported by an amazing live band. The five of them play anything from blues and country to pop. Only recently Boaz took part in a Dutch TV program entitled "We want More". He made it to the final where his rendition of "Hopelessly Devoded to You" met with high acclaim.
