Barock project

The Italian Barock Project is no stranger to the international Prog scene. Founded in 2003, the band's goal was to combine the perfection of classical (baroque) music with rock, jazz and some pop.
'Mastermind' for Barock Project is Luca Zabbini, a classically trained pianist and composer. Luca is inspired by Keith Emmerson, which enabled him to write music in a challenging combination of classical, rock and jazz. Between 2008 and 2013, the band released three albums including the very successful "Coffee In Neukölln". This album, featuring English vocals for the first time, was nominated for 'Best Album 2012' during the the Prog Awards. After two successful albums, their last album "Detachment" was released in 2017. This album beats all sales records of the band so far and the reviews are without exception very favourable. Barock Project did a sensational performance during the Progdreams Festival of 2017, rated by many as one of the highlights of the festival. Recently Barock Project played to a sold out venue in Tokyo. This is definitely a must-see!
