Dapur Mama: “Food connects!”
May we introduce you to Devita from Dapur Mama. In the new season, she will introduce visitors of Cultuurpodium Boerderij to the Indonesian cuisine. Before the start of concerts at the CreativeColors hall, during Blues on Sunday and the pub quiz at the stage café, it is possible to enjoy delicious Indonesian dishes at the cosy stage café. No reservation required. The stage café is open from 7.30 pm (unless stated otherwise at the concert in question).
“Da-poer” means “Kitchen” in Indonesian. Devita was born and bred in East Java. She was inspired by her mother Rumiati, former chef at a famous Indonesian restaurant. Devita learned to cook in a traditional, authentic way by her mother and grandmother. Social involvement is of paramount importance to Dapur Mama. In honour of her mother, Devita has created the “Food Connects” initiative. From each order, 7% of proceeds is spent on food packages for disadvantaged families in Java (mostly families of “tukang becak”, bicycle taxi drivers). In addition to her collaboration with Cultuurpodium Boerderij, Dapur Mama also provides on-site catering. Click on the menu for an overview of Dapur Mama’s dishes.
