How do I get to Cultuurpodium Boerderij?
By car:
From the A12 motorway (The Hague/Utrecht). Take exit 6-Zoetermeer-Centrum on the A12. Follow the Afrikaweg to the Amerikaweg.
From the A12 motorway (Utrecht/The Hague). Follow the A12 to the Oostweg in Zoetermeer. Take exit 7-Zoetermeer on the A12 / E30. Continue on the Oostweg. Take the Australiëweg and Europaweg to the Amerikaweg.
From Leiden take the N206 towards Zoetermeer. At the roundabout take the 1st exit to Muzieklaan. Turn right towards Vorstiusrode. Go straight at crossing with Amerikaweg.
By public transport:
Cultuurpodium Boerderij is a one-minute walk from Randstad rail station Voorweg. Are you from the region of The Hague and want to go to De Boerderij? From The Hague CS you can take both Randstadrail 3 and 4 (get off at Voorweg laag). Do you come from Utrecht/Gouda? Take Randstadrail 3 towards The Hague at Station Driemanspolder (get off at Voorweg hoog).

Where can I park my car?
You can park for free in the vicinity of the Cultuurpodium Boerderij. Please note that in case of well-attended concerts it may take a few minutes. There are several parking spaces at the Amerikaweg. If there are no parking spaces available at the Amerikaweg, there are several opportunities for parking at the Ingenieur Veltplein, right across the Randstad rail Station Voorweg. To get there, drive alongside the Cultuurpodium Boerderij on the Amerikaweg and turn left (underneath the railroad bridge) towards the Meerzichtlaan. Then take the first exit onto the Voorweg. After 450m you will find a spacious parking behind the railway station. If you take the stairs, cross the station, you will arrive at the entrance of Cultuurpodium Boerderij. Please pay attention: at the end of the Amerikaweg there is a car park specifically for trucks and lorries. Parking is not allowed here. If you park your car here, you will risk a fine.
Is there a minimum age when visiting concerts at De Boerderij?
The minimum age we maintain is 16 years. Children under the age of 16 are welcome provided they are supervised by an adult.
Is De Boerderij accessible to disabled people?
Cultuurpodium Boerderij is accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance hall, the cloakroom, the podium café and the hall are well accessible and wheelchair friendly. The building has a custom toilet and there is an elevator in the building. For all shows we have limited wheelchair tickets available. They are only available through our website. Any companion must be in possession of a valid ticket (not a wheelchair ticket). If you do not have a wheelchair ticket, we cannot guarantee you your space. We advise you to arrive well on time on the evening of the concert in order for our staff to guide you to the reserved space in the hall. (See calendar for opening hours of the hall). It is not allowed to bring chairs or other items to sit on (sitting sticks, folding chairs, rollators, scooters and the like). Cultuurpodium Boerderij has a very limited number of seats. Are you unable to stand for long? Send an e-mail to info@boerderij.org. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you contact us well in advance of the date of the concert.
I am not able to make it to the concert. Can I return my tickets?No, this is not possible, unfortunately. When you have purchased a ticket for a concert, it is not possible to return your ticket. Ticketmaster Nederland offers you the possibility to purchase cancellation insurance for your tickets. This will give you a refund if you are prevented from coming to a concert due to illness, family circumstances, an accident, etc.
A concert has been canceled or postponed. Can I get a refund on the tickets?
In certain circumstances, a concert cannot take place or be postponed to another date. When this happens, you are entitled to receive a refund on your previously purchased tickets. In this case, refunds will take place through the Customer Service department of Ticketmaster Netherlands. Purchasers who have ordered their tickets over the internet can send a mail request with their customer details and account number on which the refund must take place via the Ticketmaster Contact Centre. Purchasers who bought their tickets through an outlet can send their original tickets with a short refund request (including bank account number, customer registration number, name and address) to the ticket service office:

When sending tickets, we always advise you to make a copy/scan of the original tickets for your own administration.
Please note: When ticket are refunded, Ticket Service will not refund the already paid service/handling fees. This is due to the fact that these fees relate to goods and services that have already been delivered.
Can I take photographs at de Boerderij?
As a general rule, it is allowed to take photographs with compact cameras during concerts. Please mind the other visitors. Frequent use of a camera and/or mobile phone can be very annoying to fellow visitors, therefore, try to minimize the use of aforementioned items. In some cases, artists have specific wishes regarding the photo policy. If this is the case, it will be announced on the evening of the concert. Flash photography is not allowed during concerts. Artists want to focus on their performance, it’s very annoying when they are blinded by flashlight.
Professional cameras with interchangeable lenses and SLR cameras are not allowed unless permission has been given prior to the show. Professional (press) photographers and amateur photographers can apply for accreditation via info@boerderij.org. Applications must be submitted at least seven days before the concert, otherwise we can not guarantee to process the request. Photographers who have been granted permission must always adhere to the instructions of the employees of Cultuurpodium Boerderij.
Video and/or audio recording is prohibited due to contractual agreements with artists.
During concerts there is always an in-house photographer of Cultuurpodium de Boerderij present. Photos are available at the end of the concert from our Flickr page. If there is no more space on the guest list for a professional photographer, it is possible to request photos from our in-house photographer. Please contact info@boerderij.org
Are there any seats at De Boerderij?
All tickets on sale are standing only/general admission. We do not have any official seats in our venue. For people with reduced mobility we have a limited number of spaces available. If you’re physically unable to stand during a concert, you may want to reserve a seat prior to the show. Please send an e-mail to info@boerderij.org. Note: there are only limited spaces available. Therefore, we can not guarantee the availability of aforementioned spaces. Visitors who like to be seated during the show can visit our podium café. Here we have plenty of seats available and you can enjoy a drink while watching the show on our big screen.
Can I take my guide dog with me?
An officially trained guide dog (such as a seeing-eye dog) may accompany you to the concert if the dog has been registered in advance. This can be done by phone at +31 79-3211012 or via info@boerderij.org. When registering, we ask for your name, the name of the dog and the name of the foundation which is the owner of the dog.
Can I work as a volunteer at De Boerderij?
Cultuurpodium Boerderij works with volunteers on all productions. We have a team of more than 100 enthusiastic volunteers who help us to produce the concerts.
There are several workgroups, including stage managers, lighting- and sound engineers, cookery staff etc. We are always looking for people who can strengthen our team of volunteers. For availability in the different workgroups, please refer to the section ‘vacancies’ on this website.
