Sky Architect was inspired by science fiction classics. Its music is packed with surprising elements, multi-rythmical and extensive song structures. The band was founded in 2008 and now has four albums to its credit. Their latest ablum "Nomad" marks a new era. Golden Caves was founded in 2013 by five students from Codarts, the Rotterdam conservatory school of music. The beautiful voice of Romy Ouwerkerk is reminiscent of the sound of Anneke van Giersbergen.
Sky Architect has proven to be a credit to the Dutch progressive rock scene in recent years. The Golden Caves' music balances on the interface of alternative rock, progressive rock and atmospheric music.
