Saybia

The Danish band Saybia was founded in 1992, but only in 2001 achieves real name recognition when the British label EMI signed the band. Comparisons with Travis and Coldplay are quickly made. The dreamy pop/rock songs of Saybia one by one turn into hits in Denmark, but now they also have conquered the rest of Europe. Saybia is a welcome guest in the Netherlands and in recent years performed at such festivals as Lowlands and Pinkpop while at the same time easily selling out their last club tour.
Saybia achieved it's breakthrough with the album "The Second You Sleep". This 2002 debut album features singles like "The Day After Tomorrow" and title track "The Second You Sleep". The song "I Surrender" from the subsequent album "These Are The Days" was a big hit in the Netherlands. Last year they released their fourth album "No Sound From The Outside". The intriguing voice of singer Søren Huss, the guitar sound of Kasper Rasmussen, Palle Sørensen's drums and percussion and keyboard player Jess Jensen together form a fantastic whole.
