Gary Hoey Band



He may not be so well known in Europe, but in America, guitarist Gary Hoey has a strong following. He is a hard working musician and now has over 20 albums to his name. His latest album, "Dust & Bones" (2016), contains excellent rock 'n roll and blues rock.
Gary Hoey was discovered in 1987 by none other than Ozzy Osbourne and nearly ended up in this man's band, the honor eventually went to Zakk Wylde. Early 90's, Gary toured America with his band Heavy Bones. Over the years Hoey has worked with giants like Brian May (Queen), Joe Satriani, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai and Peter Frampton. With his version of Focus' Hocus Pocus he managed to reach the charts, this cover meant a big step forward in his solo career. In 2010, Hoey acted as support act for Jeff Beck during his American tour. In 2012, Hoey produced Lita Ford's album "Living Like a Runaway" and went on to play with her on tour. Gary Hoey is considered to be one of the "Top 100 guitar players of all time". In short, a guitarist you should definitely see in a live performance!
