Devon Allman Band

Devon Allman, son of music legend Gregg Allman, is certainly not a musician who piggybacked on the success of his father. For over two decades he has been part of the blues world and has had considerable success with his bands Honey Tribe and Royal Southern Brotherhood. Devon recently released his third solo album "Ride or Die" (2016).
Devon grew up with the classic (rock) blues oriented music of Santana, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, and, of course, The Allman Brothers Band. Early '90s he was part of The Dark Horses, a local band in St. Louis and in 1999 he founded Devon Allman's Honey Tribe, one of the most popular blues bands at the time. From 2011, Devon Allman also participates in the supergroup Royal Southern Brotherhood, a blues-rock group with among others percussionist Cyril Neville. In addition, Devon has built a successful solo career. He now has three albums to his name. The comparison with his father is quickly made due to the power and range of his soulful voice. Flaming and lingering guitar solos coupled with Devon's strong vocals provide goosebumps!
