British pop/rock band China Crisis scored some big hits in the 80's with songs like "Wishful Thinking", "Black Man Ray" and "Hanna Hanna". Their successful album "Working With Fire And Steel" is part of many music lovers record collection. Founders Gary Daly (vocals/keyboards) and Eddie Lundon (guitar) are returning to the Netherlands for this show with a full backing band.
China Crisis was founded in 1979 and has never really split up. Their debut album "Difficult Shapes & Passive Rhythms" was released in 1982 and was quickly adopted by the media. Their second album "Working with Fire and Steel" was successful, but their third album, "Flaunt the Imperfection" produced by Walter Becker of Steely Dan was responsible for their big break. In recent years the band has rarely been seen outside of England, but last year at De Boerderij they proved that their hit records still stand the test of time. Their album "Autumn In The Neighbourhood" (2015), the first studio album since 1994, contains new unique pop songs with the power of China Crisis that we are accustomed to.
